The particularly appealing charisma of the city of Ludwigslust through its location, the beautiful castle, the gardens and the city church offer the best conditions. In addition, there is a musical tradition of the Ludwigslust court composers, which has existed since 1770. Thus, beyond classical music to the Baroque period.

Young musical talents are invited to pursue their instrumental, musical skills and ambitions in an optimal and inspiring environment. Under the guidance of renowned lecturers, the participants also have the opportunity to present themselves in a course concert in the excellent acoustics of the city church.

Welcome to Ludwigslust and the International Music Academy. I particularly welcome all participating young musical talents. Ludwigslust is a city of short distances. I think not only the good conditions will convince you, but also the friendliness and proverbial warmth of Mecklenburgers will be an optimal environment for all contributors of the International Music Academy. We wish you happy making music and look forward to the concerts in our beautiful city church.
